Ahmed Adil (Founder) “for as long as I can remember, I have always loved drawing and painting”

Born in 1980 in Maldives, “Ahmed Adil” is one of the leading Maldivian artists of the generation that emerged in the wake of tourism. Adil’s creations are built on his strong tribal traditions as well as his interest in changing world of art today.

He started sketching at age of ten and show cased many years learning from his father. His drawings have been featured in many exhibitions and festivals where he was awarded best artist. He has exhibited his work in galleries and cultural events throughout Maldives.

In addition, Adil’s creations are in numerous private collections. In his work Adil often uses contemporary ideas combined with strong traditional technique. As a subsistence hunter, he collects the materials for he’s work from the land and the sea. Adil now shares his talents with tourist resorts. Also it was established and displayed his talent at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport from 2012 to 2014. He continues to explore new ways to share his passion.
